House of Hades

Book Summary on Internet:

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

Rating: 9/10

 The book was AWSOME. It answered all your questions from MoA and more. I only gave it a 9 because it was a bit confusing. All of the seven's PoV was in it, so sometimes you couldn't remember who was narrating.

Ok, there was a lot of shocking things. Remember Calypso from Battle of the Labyrinth? She appears again. And OF COURSE Leo happens to land on her island. AND they fall in love. So for you Lezel supporters out there? Its not happening. Hmm, I should think of a ship name for Calypso and Leo... Anyway, back to the subject. Bob, the friendly Titan from The Demigod Files? Also appears again. If you don't remember him, just re-read it. He is a VERY important character on HoH. And for the most surprising?

The Doors of Death are now out of the clutches of Gaea.
Good news rocks!
Bad news...gonna have to wait another WHOLE year for the epic ending of this series.

Bast, Goddess of Cats

This is an awesome mask of the Egyptian goddess, Bast. Bast was the goddess of cats and war. Being one of the more worshiped gods, she is often looked up upon by Egyptians.

Harry Potter Spin-off?!

I just figured out today that J.K. Rowling will be writing a spin-off movie of HP. I was like,"The HECK?" Me, being a bibliophile, was spazzing when I figured out. They aren't going to write a BOOK spin-off? WHY Rowling? Why are you doing this to me!
